I also checked the QQ_vendor View. It also has the same address as Vendor Maintenance and the Vendor table. Where would the Vendor Address QQ be pulling from? Thanks!

Hi Carolyn I opened a support case to resolve. I have been told that SL2015 and Crystal have conflicts so I had to do the following: Putting the Crystal .dlls into a Crystal folder usually works. Let’s try this and see if the issue persists: In the new Crystal folder locate the Tracelog-4-0.dll and copy it out into the C:\Windows\SysWow64 folder.

Hi Ricardo / all, Did you ever get this issue resolved with Quick Query crashing when trying to Save a Base Query? I'm hitting the same issue currently on SL2015 CU2 as well. They're running SQL authentication, so I'm wondering if some permissions aren't right and it's causing the crash. I am only a local admin on the server and not the domain, so I'm wondering if there's a conflict somewhere. Thanks, Cody

Hi, I have faced this issue very long back and here is the resolution that I have taken to overcome this issue to convert the BSL code to VBA code. For example, Vendor maintenance screen does have BSL customization Export the BSL code (0327000_BSL.CST) in SL2011 environment. In SL2015, delete the BSL customization of vendor maintenance screen then switch to ALLUSER customization level and write something in form editor and save the customization and export the customization (0327000_VBA_TEST.CST). Open the file 0327000_BSL in the notepad and copy the controls and form code one by one and Open the file 0327000_VBA_TEST in the notepad and paste the copied content (form controls & code) and save. Now, Import 0327000_VBA_TEST into SL2015 machine, the customization should work. Please try this and let me know how it goes. Thanks, Ajit

Good morning, Ajit. Thanks for your reply. I'm going to try this, but had a couple of questions/observations. First, the customizations all work on the server. It is only at the workstation this one screen (08.010.00) fails to load. Looking at your proposed answer, it seems to me to be a solution if it failed everywhere (including the server.) Second, if I open the form in the editor, it will be opening as a VBA customization. Would this make a difference? My gut tells me that it would. Again, thanks for your help. I look forward to your response.

Hi Stuart, If it something not works in workstation, then we should try this as a workaround but never seen such issue. Once you move the BSL controls to VBA, then the system converts into VBA. This is how it works. If you want to try, below explanation might help you If you have any code written in BSL events. For example, In the Update_onUpdate, BSL does have different parameters and some difference in declaration side also VBA has a different set of parameters & declaration is slight differ from BSL so you need to adjust the parameters & declaration accordingly. Hi! I have no problems uploading budget data into SL using the template. Our budget data is at the GL/Sub GL level. However, after uploading the budget, when generating reports, we cannot see what the amounts are meant to represent. What is missing is a description of what the $ amount represents. For example: GLXXXX SubGL YYYY-YYYYYYY Anti-Virus Software Expense $1000.00 Is there a way to upload the description "Anti-Virus Software Expense" along with the GL/Sub GL/$ amount? I see that when using the upload template, it calls for level 0 to be used. would uploading using level 1 help with my question? Thanks!!

Good morning Tom, You might have to reimport the PVrec.csv file into Dynamics SL using Possible Values Import screen. Below are the steps to import the PV Lookup file. Go to Administration module Open Possible Values Import screen under utility section Click the Enter File Name this will lead you to Application Root Folder Go to the \SL\Applications\DB\csvs\pvrec.csv select the pvrec.csv click begin process button and this will import all PVs into Dynamics SL This will solve your problem in project maintenance.

I have found that if the report contains a blank formula (formula with no code), you will get this message. Go through all of the formulas in the report, locate any with empty code, and delete them.
