Sarah, I am not clear on what you are asking in question a but, if you are asking if you can skip the account field and only enter the sub-account field then the answer is no. Regarding question b, are you asking if you can do this or if it is possible that a user did this by mistake? Also, to clarify, are you asking about the GL Journal Transaction screen or some other screen. Finally, if you want to do this, what is the reason for doing so. Sorry to ask a question to your question but I want to make sure I am answering correctly.
